We are very sad to announce that the Rifle Run South 2020 event, due to take place on the 5th April 2020, has been cancelled due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
We appreciate how disappointing this news will be and we share that disappointment. This has not been a decision we have taken lightly, but the health and wellbeing of all our wonderful fundraisers, volunteers and staff has been a driving factor.
We have contacted everyone who has signed up with more information and what to do next. Please check your e-mail.
We know that you will all have questions but please do bear with us as we work through the cancellation process. We have put together a FAQ to hopefully answer most of your questions, which can be accessed along the top navigation bar of this page.
Rifle Run North 2020 is currently unaffected.

Below are answers to the commonly asked questions regarding the cancellation of Rifle Run South.
If your question is not answered below then please do not hesitate to contact us, but please bear with us in this busy time.
What are my options?
You have three options:
- Transfer your registration and fundraising to Rifle Run North. If you would like to take us up on this please e-mail me on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Rifle Run North is taking place on the 20th September at Catton Hall, in Frodsham, Cheshire. If there are sufficient people taking us up on this we will look at free transport for everyone transferring from Rifle Run South.
- Transfer your registration and fundraising to Rifle Run South 2021. The date has not yet been confirmed but we are working with EJ Churchill, True Grit Events and British Shooting to confirm this ASAP. If you would like to register your interest in this please contact me on email@example.com.
- Cancel your place in Rifle Run South. Please see below for refund information.
Will the event be rescheduled for later in the year?
We have decided not to reschedule for September/October. Rifle Run North is already taking place in September 2020.
Am I entitled to a refund?
Due to the circumstances of this cancellation you are entitled to a full refund, or your registration and fundraising can be left as a donation to the Charity. If you and your donors wish to make your registration and/or donation a donation to the charity at this difficult time then you do not need to do anything else and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity. If you would like to discuss a refund please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org

We are delighted to have Buena Vista Entertainments supporting Rifle Run South and Rifle Run North in 2020.
For a third year, Dougie Robertson, one of their comperes/announcers, will be providing his voice to the safety briefings at the start and an enthusiastic welcome back to all of our fabulous fundraisers at Rifle Run South. Neil Boyle, another member of the Buena Vista Entertainments team, will be looking after compere duties again at Rifle Run North.
Our association with Dougie and Buena Vista Entertainments has been since 2013 at our Scottish event, the Cateran Yomp, where Dougie, as he says “puts the fun into fundraising!”
