10/10/10 Medicine Ball Challenge
I have recently lost close friends, work colleagues and family members to Mental ill Health. I want to make awareness to help break these stigmas and get people talking about their Mental health. It's ok to speak up and say I'm not ok.
I will be running 10 miles every 10 hours for 10 days straight over a very arduous and gruelling route. This route is knowing well to The Parachute Regiment as its the same route they conduct on Test Week on P Company.
Before my Charity Event which will start on 31st October 2022. I will ask Permanent staff to all get involved and take turns to handcuff the 3kg medicine ball to them self's to show awareness for Mental health. It may not sound that heavy but being handcuffed to the medicine ball is a significant burden. The ball becomes a physical, visual and tangible representation of the invisible burden of mental health so many of us can experience.
The challenge raises money for the following charities. Any support you can offer will be gratefully received and split evenly between the causes.
