The Frontline Walk 2024: The Normandy Beaches

I'm taking part in the Frontline Walk, where this will be my 6th event and this year we're following The Western Front in France & Belgium. I'll be trekking 100km following in the footsteps of those who fought on the Somme and Passchendaele battlefields during the First World War

I'll be doing this to commemorate the sacrifices made by those who fought in WWI whilst helping to support the soldiers and veterans of today.

It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but I'm doing it all for a great cause: ABF The Soldiers' Charity, the National Charity of the British Army. They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.

Please cheer me on by making a donation towards my target.

2024 ABF challenge along the Normandy Beahes

After having to pull out of the 2023 FLW around the Western Front due to a knee injury 3 days before leaving for France, its back to it in 2024 with a visit back to the Normandy Beaches during the 80th Anniversary year of the D Day landings to help raise much needed funds for the Army Benevolent Fund who support Serving soldiers and Ex-servicemen as well as their families in times of need...

Personally it will be great to revisit these places after completing the 100km challenge in 2019 in memory of our family who had to come here during the landings and afterwards to help free Europe from the tyranny it had faced for many years...
