Raising money for a great cause.

Many years ago I served in the Army for a short time and understand the challenges life can throw at you should you have an illness or injury.

On the 8 - 9 June 2024, I am taking part in The Cateran Yomp. A 54-mile hike in 24 hours across rural Perthshire.

It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the Army's National Charity, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

Noodles my wired haired standard Dachshund will be glad when the Yomp is complete (he's not doing it by the way, too far for him in one go!).

November practice Yomp

A 14 mile walk to see how I could handle it - All went well and Noodles my Wired Haired Dachshund came along for company. He enjoyed it but did flag at the end as he covered more distance than me!
