I'm taking part in the Frontline Walk: The Western Front. I'll be trekking 100km following in the footsteps of those who fought on the Somme and Passchendaele battlefields during the First World War

I'll be doing this with my brother to help and support the soldiers and veterans of today, and commemorate the sacrifices made by those who fought in WWI, in particular, our Great Uncle Sydney Fletcher of the 1/5th Durham Light Infantry (DLI) who was sadly killed at Passchendale on 23rd December 2017 and is buried at Tyne Cot Cemetery.

It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but I'm doing it all for a great cause: ABF The Soldiers' Charity, the National Charity of the British Army. They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.
