I'm Fundraising for the ABF The Soldiers Charity

On the 8 - 9 June 2024, I am taking part in The Cateran Yomp. A 54-mile hike in 24 hours across rural Perthshire.

It’s going to be tough but it will raise vital funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the Army's National Charity, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

My Updates

Yr Wyddfa

I did this for the first time on Monday 26th Feb 2024.

Conditions at the base were amazing, cool weather, dry and crisp. We encountered a lot of snow and ice towards the top and it made it very tricky.

I was in a team of three, myself and one other being novices to the walk, but our guide was good and we had a great laugh.

In all it clocked in at a little over 9.5 miles and took us 4 hours and 12 minutes.

I'm looking forward to doing more and will be posting on here about them a bit more!
